The Adventures of Snip in Oregon

The Adventures of Snip in Oregon
Author: Betty S. Moir
ISBN: 978-1-4392-2020-7
Pages: 36

Snip is half poodle malamute and half husky dog, but he looks just like a shaggy black sheep dog. Snip and his family live in the Northwest during the 70's. Together with his loving family, Jim Jr., Heather, and John, Snip goes on lots of fun adventures. Each chapter gives us an example of love, friendship, excitement, and truly shows that dogs really are mans best friend. Children will enjoy reading this book over and over again. There are wonderful color illustrations that will captivate children. While younger children may not be able to read it themselves, they will love having it read to them, and older children will enjoy reading it either alone or with somebody. Whether you bring Snip and his family into your home on a rainy afternoon, a cold snowy day, or right before bedtime, you will be glad that you took the time to read this book.
